Approximately two years ago spammers realized the potential of guestbooks for their trade. Suddenly I faced the choice of either abandoning my perfectly working flatPHPbook for a more bloated guestbook or take matters into my own hands. Lucky for me I found code of Andy Levin in the Sourceforge forum, who implemented a captcha solution in order to deal with the spam. Based on his code I assembeled the inofficial release 1.03 of flatPHPbook. A general description of the software can be found in the Readme file, and a detailled list of changes can be found in the Changelog.
Since Thomas Hettenhausen (the developer of flatPHPbook) won't answer my mails the package can't be downloaded on the Sourcefore side but only directly on this page:
